at least 50% of the folks on this thread can understand the difference between humans and animals. It’s okay if you can’t.

BS. Psychopaths have a propensity towards cruelty to cats and specifically cats. That doesn't mean they will target cats alone, however cats generally are their stepping stone. This was cruelty pure and simple. If you have an animal problem then buy a cheap no kill trap. Trap it and call animal control. Easy. There is no justification for this.

Where I live I wish stray cats were my primary animal problem. Cats are dumped in the spring here. If they are shy they will be killed by other wildlife or will starve to death by winter. If they are friendly they will come forward and be adopted by my family and neighbors.

Please don't speak for the 50% on this thread. You strike me as having very shallow emotions and that certain air of glibness.

I’m sure the person tried to kill the cat. That, we do know.
You believe killing a cat for any reason is not justifiable.
Others, (looks to be about 50%) disagree.

I am sure that the majority of hunters (like myself) who take aim on their game, are not wanting to make that perfect shot so they can brag about it, but do not want an animal to suffer.

The deal with this cat is not a good one at all.

My concern about this conversation is the great sympathy for an animal and the lack of understanding of humanity.
Sure, there are freaks around, maybe 3% maybe more. But someone who kills a cat shouldn’t “burn in hell” “be beat to a pulp” “same thing done to them as the cat”

I am not saying we need to understand these people either. wouldn’t waste my time.

Ya know, i’ve spent some time in the bush. Seen some things, done some things. I really don’t like the value of a human life compared to animals. I am right.
