I think you're wrong. Actually, the sub-surface tectonic plates in the Caribbean sea, specifically the ones with the focal point being underneath Haiti, make up what is now known worldwide, by geologists and seismologists alike, as BUSH'S FAULT.

The Bush's Fault was once thought to be relatively stable, in comparison to the more infamous earthquake prone San Andreas Fault; however, recent events have made Bush's Fault very prominent.
