Madison, WI -- The Department of Homeland Security admitted today that it improperly conducted a threat assessment on pro-life groups in Wisconsin. The assessment came before an expected rally last year in response to the University of Wisconsin Hospital board decided to allow abortions.

Well, it is easier to track people like this because we are visable. We take a stand for what we believe is right.
The list included Vets, Gun Owners, Christians, JPFO, and other threats. But not islamic groups.
And dont get me started in ELF and ALF and other militant enviromental groups.

Consent Decree was finally reached between the plaintiffs and the CPD & FBI

A consent decree is not stare decisis. It is a voluntary agreement between two parties that has the force of an order of the court that issued it.

In this particular case, as was probably the case in that case, monetary damages are difficult to prove. After all, they merely investigated and checked up on whoever was the then designated bad guys.

What is outrageous is that DHS, an agency that should not even exist because real counterterrorism is the mission of the FBI, CIA and DoD, seems to have nothing better to do with its time. It is all part of the liberal mania that any conservative viewpoint is tantamount to domestic terrorism.
