Aren't public schools providing free meals to over 50% of the students now?
We’ve had free breakfast for everyone for ever and most kids are already on free or reduced lunch. Of course, mine pay full price. Any wonder why I can hardly pay our property taxes?
Yes, I think it is like 60% in our area in the major school district. And not only the free and subsidized lunches, but they have recently started giving free breakfast to all students. That would be, using our money. Or money that we thought was being used for textbooks, technology, etc.
Anyway, it is no business of the federal government to regulate vending machines on a local level, with one possible exception being inside of federal buildings.
