Morning Joe was a nonstop round table discussion of 1) why Sarah Palin should not be taken seriously and 2) tea party movement should become a 3rd party (to get Obama reelected).

One thing that was clear to me, and I think to the vast majority at the National Tea Party Convention, is that we need to use Tea Party ideas and work within the two-party system, as a 3rd party is a loser. This was discussed and commented on in both small groups and by several of the speakers. So I am completely unsurprised to see Leftists encouraging a 3rd party.
