My husband was called *at work* on Friday and interrogated by some census person—he called me right after, all irate that they were asking personal questions that had NOTHING to do with how many people lived in our house, etc. They wanted to know exactly what investments he had in his portfolio, etc.! He refused to answer those questions, just stuck with the basics. Very intrusive! I know they use info for fed dollar distribution, etc. but c’mon! >:-(
That is a violation of the Federal Privacy Act of 1974.
