It was such an humbling honor to be in that room with all those “regular” Americans who are united in caring about this nation and are about the business of taking it back!
Not to mention, of course, being able to hear Sarah Palin speak in person!!!! (I know - how I wish every Freeper here could have been THERE to hear her!)
Knew there would be a live thread and will spend the next few days reading through it,,,,,
Let me just say that, like all the tea party events held thus far (and this is the first one I have been able to attend in person), the sense in that room was very akin to electric energy, with a JOYFUL unity and shared determination to do what is necessary to take this country back!
Sarah said that seeing all of us there gave her hope for our country. It gave me hope as well. And seeing and hearing Sarah Palin (who made clear that the Tea Party movement is NOT ABOUT one leader or one person - but is about THE PEOPLE)....gave me tremendous hope even in the midst of the serious dangers that face our nation at this hour.
As high as you are, your gonna have to take an energy drink to calm down.
That was, for me, the most important part of the speech. If there is no leader than the MSM, DNC and RNC cannot tear the TEA Party down. There are too many of us.
Obama, Pelosi and Reid: Remember you are surrounded by millions of us — We, the People.
Well again Palin hit all the right notes tonight and I’m still enjoying the afterglow.
You know Freedom’sWorthIt, it is not an easy thing to bring up our “creator” in a politicial environment in such a way as would be acceptable to the listeners. Tonight Sarah framed her statements of Him directly with our country, our founders, and our History and it was seamless...a call for our citizens and governing officials to return to the one who our founders once sought concerning governing our great nation....and that we would do well to get back to doing just that unashamedly. Now that was encouraging and lifting to me in how she presented this so very tastefully...and I heard..and I do think so will others.
