I saw the Rahm bit on SNL.
I hate it when the laughs come at Sarah’s expense.

Neal Boortz is an assclown. He is the token “conservative” tonight on MSNBC and he is ripping Sarah.

Really?

And to think that I actually used to like that guy.

Buh-bye, Neal.

I was so moved by Palin’s speech tonight.

I thought it was even better than the one given at the RNC in ‘08 when she was announced as McCain’s VP pick. And the thing is, she wasn’t as “perfect” in this one in terms of style. In ‘08, there were no slips of the tongue, no moments the lamestreamers can “Couric-ify” if you will. There was no hint of weariness from the various battlefields she would eventually endure...(on the trail, in the media, in Alaska upon her return, including seeing her church be burned!, etc...)

Some other things to note about the “time that has passed”

In ‘08 she had just given BIRTH to Trig—she hadn’t yet experienced the wonder of watching him grow as she raises him...I was so moved when she broke into tears while talking about him and other children with special needs today. I can only imagine what statistics like “90% plus are aborted” can weigh on her heart, when it can just be a mere number to most people.

In ‘08, Track was about to leave for Iraq, she hadn’t yet dealt with a year of agonizing over his safety and well-being while overseas. Acknowledging our veterans isn’t just cliche political rhetoric for Palin, it hits at her core.

In ‘08, there was lots of speculation about Obama’s vague leftist promises, now we literally are dealing with a country at the brink...with sooo much at stake.

And now. Wow. This speech was full of substance and meat about policies and what have you, but I thought it was moving because of how much her soul emerged. One can sense what she’s put up with and been willing to go through in order to FIGHT for us, FIGHT for this country, for causes that could very easily seem impossible to believe in at this point. She’s a leader, but she’s not merely the kind that’ll give the right orders—she’s the kind that’ll be willing to lay her own life down for the men and women around her.

You can’t “fake” that no matter how hard you try. You can’t “rehearse” that kind of genuineness.

And then her Q and A session was even more remarkable. She hearkened back to the original God-fearing spirit of America. She reminded us of our need to seek divine intervention and God’s will in all things. That to me, was the highlight of her remarks of the convention—and it may just seem like a sidenote to some people.

Obviously, it’s her faith that keeps her going. Quite extraordinary. I am continually amazed by her ability to bring out both the best and worst out in people. It’s because God’s allowed much of His light to shine through her in times which are so very, very dark, and it’s been really wonderful to witness.

Gotta keep praying for this country!

I have no idea what she’s planning to do.
I am just praying for her and her family.
She’s so very special. I want only success for her in all her endeavors.

Oh, good news that you are getting sleepy!

SNL - I am not all that amused by the Rahm skit, because I hate it when the laughs come at Sarah’s expense... but’s that’s just ‘touchy’ me.

Huckabee has effectively used Fox News to promote himself as a man of substance. Plus O’Reilly and Hannity covered for Huckabee concerning the police officer shootings in nov 2009. As a result, Huckabee, according to the Dem pollster, Public Policy Polling, is the only GOPer to beat Obama.

Palin is attempting to do the same thing as Huckabee. Use Fox News to promote herself.

BTW Geraldo had Huckabee comment on Palin’s speech from Israel. Huckabee accused Palin of going 3rd party.

You are so lucky you were there in person! I also especially enjoyed her using the words “HOPE” and “CHANGE” dozens of times. “If there’s HOPE in Massachusetts, there’s hope everywhere.” “People like you will CHANGE the world.” —TAKING THOSE THEMES BACK FROM OBAMA, who abused them to deceive and ruin this country!

Huck showed his true colors tonight. He is not about the people. He is not about the cause. He is about himself.

Huckabee will never get the GOP nod. Never. And I will do everything I can to expose him as the RINO Christian socialist he is.

Sarah Palin is heads and shoulders above and beyond Huckabee.

Gee, I don’t think I even heard her name
mentioned.

It was such a relentless portrayal of
what an a$$ you just know he really
is, and so bleeped out .. like every
other word .. that I saw it as a total
diss of him.

When you see the video, see if you don’t
think it focused on putting him down as
the crude animal he is.

They say people are most influenced by the president in office during their college years.

"Not for me. I went to college during the Carter years."

The theory is demonstrably untrue. Bubba and The Hildabeast were in college during the Nixon years. So were all the rest of the liberal hippie scum who are now running this country into the ground.

Full disclosure: I'm in that same generation, but I didn't go to college (thank God). Every person in my family who went to college from the late 60's on, is a dyed-in-the-wool leftist.
