Glancing through the link you provided noted one item seems out of place to me. The Obama Timeline: 1961-2009.

There is something needs commenting. “Obama Sr. was excessively fond of scotch” This quote is from a friend of Obama Sr.

When I was in East Africa for 4 years and ordered “scotch” the bartenders did not know what it was. It was called whiskey, Johnny Walker Red or Black. In the US we use the word “scotch” and over there they use the word whiskey.
