Ron Nehring is a great conservative leader

Simply one of the most ignorant statements I've seen published on the California Topic. Do the home work before making a fool of yourself.

Nehring barely meets the definition of a Republican, let alone a conservative. Nehring is, like many in the CAGOP, first a political whore and then a partisan. Nehring has courted conservatives, for the sake of the big tent and the party coffers, but has never pretended to be a conservative.

Name calling doesn't further your argument. Ron Nehring is a good party leader dedicated to republicanism and conservatism. He offers party leadership that inspires and challenges others to strive towards excellence. Yes, as the chairman of the California GOP, he must endorse and support moderate Republican candidates as well. (He does also like to win elections, after all.) But to say that he isn't a conservative (or a good leader) is just not true. He consistently quotes conservative principles of limited government, lower taxes, and a strong national defense, and cites conservative leaders such as Ronald Reagan a his great influences.

So, don't tell me I need to "do my homework" in some infantile attempt to marginalize my comments. Have a nice day.

By the way, Ron Nehring addressed the Tea Party Convention yesterday, unlike some other weak-kneed Republican "leaders".

Here's his tweet from last night...
"Great day speaking to Tea Party activists at their convention in Nashville. True patriots."
Not conservative? What gives with you infighters? He's being attacked at this time to divide the Republican party in California at a time when we need strong leadership and unity going into the November elections, IMHO.
