As you know, there are two theories as to the meaning of "natural born citizen" as it appears as a requisite for the presidency in the Constitution. Berg believes that "native born" equals "natural born", in so far as I am aware. You as well as most of us here subscribe to the Vattel definition. The fact of the matter is that when the truth is finally revealed, Obama will probably fail to meet both definitions.

If he doesn’t believe the paternal conferring of British citizenship at Obama’s birth is not important to the issue, he is not a good spokesman.

I suspect you are correct. I think he'd take his chances against "Vattel". But *everyone* knows the difference between "native born" and "naturalized", or even "not a citizen".

Besides he said not to question his *citizenship", rather than his "natural born" status. Since he's a congenital dissembler, perhaps he doth protest too much and really is not even a citizen.
