The manned space program is important to everyone! Write your congressmen and tell them President Obama is wrong! We must push forward beyond low earth orbit, continue America's leadership in space, and not sacrifice thousands of jobs across the country! Save NASA's Constellation Program!

Might prove useful to convince some moderates and rational Democrats that Zero is trying to kill all parts of the economy.

I'm conflicted in this issue. I am pro commercial space and I know how much work has been done by well intentioned people on the Constellation program.

I just know Zero will screw this up too and siphon off the funds to piss away on the global whining research scam and other liberal pork like phony alternative energy research, instead of bootstrapping the commercial space sector.

I know many of the players in the companies that NASA is going to send money to and they are all liberal Democrats in battleground states. Nothing Zero does is without a political objective pushing the country farther towards socialism.

Don’t be conflicted.

We can’t give up on the goals NASA was tasked with doing with Constellation. The goals are what matter most.

We’re all for commercial endeavors, and I haven’t a problem with helping them out. But we can no more privatize the big goals NASA chases after then privitize the US Marines!

It’s too important strategically to the nation.

The nations that lead on the frontiers, dictate the course of human history.

Obama just wants a political payoff during his term.

Returning to moon, heading for Mars, have no payoff for him.

But the payoff of course is HUGE for our nation.

If we let them they’ll turn us into Holland, 1700. Losing the North American colonies to Britain, economy ravaged by the derivatives, er, tulip fiasco. A once great exploration, trading and scientific nation on the decline. Hey, mebbe they could hide the decline? Naw...

“we can no more privatize the big goals NASA chases after then privitize the US Marines!”

Excellent point and needs to be said more often.

Thanks!
