Gawd, that would be a tonic!

We only call them "tonics" in MA and southern NH. Especially if they are the ones bottled at the Polar plant in Worcester! They call them "sodas" or "soda pops" elsewhere! Just a small translation for non-MA folks who are reading. :-)

FReegards!

"The candy dish sat empty."

Just like the moral section of Kennedy's brain. Empty.

And not one of those staffers now named for all time by Kirk in the Congressional record has the balls to provide their whiney little names for the article.

LOL...I see the polar bear off of 290 as you pass though Worcester...

The usage of the word is intended in the following definitions:
1. An agent, such as a medication, that restores or increases body tone.
2. An invigorating, refreshing, or restorative agent or influence.

Thanks, nutmeg.

I did not see the article mention that the Dems had used their faux 60 majority to pass a higher debt limit nor the fact that the Dems continued to work behind closed doors on a way to jam the health care care bill thru. If the Dems in Mass. hadn't reversed their own law about filling Teddy's job, there would not even have been a Sen. Kirk.

I don't think that Sen. Brown arrived a minute too soon!

They should have been out the day after the election. That’s the problem, though. They think they’re entitled, but I think the motto of the campaign fits: It’s the people’s seat.
