Perhaps someone can enlighten me as to why they did not buy the M1?
Interesting anecdote about the Arjun and the M-1. The Arjun was originally meant to be a replacement for the British Vickers MBT and was supposed to weigh in about 40 tonnes with a 105 mm gun.
