My brother was hired on to one of the fed bureaucracies in DC for a few years. His descriptions of the lack of accountability and the laziness were astounding. His experience working there turned him from a lib into a conservative.

Actually they are usually busy all day calculating their pensions. They know the exact day they will retire and what pension salary they will get to the minute and penny.
