IIRC, Most scholarly folks believe that the AntiChrist will broker the 7 year peace treaty—that he plans to break after 3.5 years when he places HIS IMAGE in the HOLY OF HOLIES of the rebuilt Temple.
Given that’s HIS SATANIC GOAL . . . he has a keen interest in having the Temple ready for his image to demand that all the world including the Jew—especially the Jews—worship him & his image THERE.
