Yep..so you noticced Bush Sr.’s little unannouced visit too. Yea, I’ve been hoping it wouldn’t come to this..but when Israel began securing that northern borde,,,which has always been a weak point...and BiBi was flying all over ..to Russia..to Us and all unplanned trips...it was pretty evident something was up a few months ago...

I still say we can expect some serious saber rattling now...no one wants to fire first but Iran’s leader is nuts so...only Russia can hanker him back.

It makes no sense to me. I served 5 years in Saudi Arabia including during the entire Gulf War. I also served two years in Iran during the fall of the Shah and the rise of Khomeini. Obama does not need Bush 41 to be an intermediary with Israel. Bush's real value is with his long time relationship with the rulers of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Plus Bush was President during the Gulf War. He knows the region.

Bush and Baker were able to convince Israel to stay out of the war even after they were attacked with Scuds. The US must now convince Israel that it will be protected from Iran and that the US will do something about Iran's development of nuclear weapons. The show of force is part of that commitment.

I’ve been watching these movements also...remember when BiBi came to see Bo unexpectedly..and then He went to Russia right after and even BiBi’s own cabinet didn’t know where he was...this was over the summer. Then he went to Yemen.

I’ve been following the developments in Israel/Lebanon/Syria like a hawk the past couple weeks. Something is definetly going on around that border. Syria doesn’t take the extraordinary measure of calling up reserves unless something is up.

The IDF military censors are in full swing. It was reported that large IDF exercises were going to be taking place in northern Israel, Lebanon is reporting substantial IAF recon over S. Lebanon and the Bekka, but nary a peep out of Haaretz/Ynet/Jpost/INN detailing these exercises

Your exactly right on Bush Sr.s involvement....you can bet there are many officials in this country aware of these happenings but they will always keep it from the press as long as possible....Americans on the whole are squimmish . too many who want to play nice-y nice-y
