Scott Brown Doesnt Rule Out 2012 Presidential Bid
(Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.tv ...
But from what I read, the State run media is the one's that started that bit of gossip about Brown...
Well, I haven’t ruled out my own candidacy, either.
Have YOU ruled ruled out YOUR candidacy?
As a matter of fact, I don’t know anyone personally who has ruled out his/her candidacy.
I'll cross that bridge when we come to it... he's not even officially the Senator from Massachusetts yet.
very cool report.
ping
LOL... good post! (#82)
Agreed. We have our “conservative” talk show heroes calling some of us “birthers.”
They did jack sh*t about ObamaCare and Scott Brown helped kill it. People fawn over over some of these RINO talk show types but bash Scott. Leave the guy alone. He has not been seated yet.
Note: Conservative talkers who are true blue and not RINOs.
Rush, Savage, Levin (I think), Hannity (I think), Liddy, Savage, Malzberg, Cunningham, Dennis Miller (I think) and a few others who are not making fun of “birthers.”
Yes, but.... I didn't actually hear Brown rule out running for POTUS in 2012.
WALTERS: Yes. You know when I was with you just a little while ago with the crowd, one of the women said -- behind me -- said, "President 2012." And you said to me -- or under your breath, "That's silly." But do you rule it out?
BROWN: I -- I have to -- I have to tell you, I don't even have a business card. I haven't even been sworn in. I don't have any exploratory committees started. I don't have any -- anything -- it's -- it's overwhelming, and it's extremely humbling. I don't know how -- what else to tell you.
Thanks nutmeg.
I also like post #72 from the little enchilada.
Geez, with a handle like yours, you should be a little more perceptive.
He ignored the implication. It was a silly thing to throw at him.
If Scott had said “no”, the headline would have been, “Scott Brown swears he will never run for President.”
You betcha!
It is a free country last I looked. If Scott wants to run then he has that right. Scott and the people of MA in large part saved us from ObamaCare. The people of more conservative states could have put more pressure on their senatrors to vote against it like NE and seniors in FL with the other stupid Nelson.
What Scott did was almost impossible. Starting with nothing and driving around the state in his truck. 99% of people would not have even tried because they woul dhave thought it was impossible. A Repub winning Teddy’s seat is MA? Good for him.
He sounds tougher on illegal immigration than Bush, McCain, Sarah and a few other Repubs.
“Oh, and the guy hasn’t even been seated, nor voted on anything, yet there are those here who have already made up their minds.”
Some folks just enjoy getting their panties all twisted up in a knot.
It is not dead yet.
Your post—LOL!
Brown ignored nothing. He gave an evasive answer but didn’t rule it out.
Also, my handle has nothing to do with the issue at hand. You pinged me, I’m responding.
Now, would YOU like to see Scott Brown run for the GOP nomination in 2012? Yes or no?
This was one of the worst threads I’ve seen on FR...and it took some time to turn it around. Thanks for your comments here.
What’s so funny, newbie?
That is from the transcript of the show.
Thanks for the on the ground report. Sen. Menendez of NJ (probably working to flood NJ with Haitians to make it a blue state again) sai we have to drive a wedge between indep and conservatives.
Looks like people are doing this already. Scott started with nothing and on a shoe string doing the impossible. They smeared Sarah and Scott is next.
Sometimes I wonder if some poeple here are Dem operatives or just slow. Give the guy a chance.
Had a good chuckle over that one myself.
