As well they should.

Because ethanol-free gas yields about 15% better mpg.

In my car, it's the difference between 26 mpg and 30 mpg.

Here too and it’s the only place I buy gas. The price is actually about the same as the lowest priced gas with ethanol but gives considerably better gas mileage, at least ten percent more MPG. Ethanol is a bad deal all the way around so we are probably stuck with it, if it actually made sense the government wouldn’t go along with it.
