Even though he didn't create that slogan, the spirit of the 11th commandment resided inside Ronald Reagan. While it was a rule Reagan followed, he didn't demand anyone else follow it.

Not criticizing or attacking your political opponent could cost you the election.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all."~~~ President Ronald Reagan

When you abandon conservatism and embrace *moderatism*, liberalism wins.

The only election this year is the GOP against the Dems for the senate and house. Positive ideas seem more attractive than the “weasels rip my flesh” of GOP on GOP attacks. I still hold that energy should be put into attacking Dems and Dem ideas at least until near the primaries. Even then a guy like Rubio looks good because of his positive message not necessarily negative campaigning. The country could damn well fail at least fiscally if we do not change congress substantially. I do not see the percentage in GOP intramural fighting outside of a primary , and then ideas are better criticized than the personalities, unless you are a Dem.
