I never understand how they can make that “good for the economy” comment with a straight face. If making us destroy perfectly good vehicles and equipment in order to purchase green ones makes good economic sense, why don’t they mandate that we then have to destroy all those new green cars adter only a year of use so that people will be forced to buy EVEN MORE of them.
