I have two liberal friends who travel to europe on a regular basis. Both are convinced we should follow that blueprint to govern our lives here in America.
This often leads to arguements. No matter how much I point out to them the failures over there, they are convinced they are right and don’t know enough to understand.
This elitism sound familiar to anyone?
Europeans are not smarter than Americans.
WE’RE not the area that gave spawn to hideous totalitarianism in the last century.
They had/still have ROYALTY for Heaven’s sake.
And when Europe is responsible for America’s protection, I’ll be more inclined to think we need to emulate THEIR systems.
