A really fair, impartial jury on the subject of abortion is hard to find these days.

I agree with the judge on this point, this trial was not about abortion, it was about Roeder committing murder.
Regardless what you and the judge thinks, this was all about the issue of abortion.
The only way to have an impartial trial was for the procedures that Tiller preformed described in court. most of that jury probably didn’t realize the bloodiness of late term abortions, and that would no doubt have changed the verdict.
