I’m running a wireless network in my home with a new Windows 7 laptop. My desktop is running XP, to which the printer is connected. I’ve been unable to print from my laptop. Any suggestions?

In XP you have to set up the home network. Have you done that? Does the LT find the XP box via the network?

Go to My Computer on the LT and click "My Network" places. Does the XP box come up on the list?

Yeah. First, the usual dumb stuff.

Ensure File and Printer Sharing is turned on, and the printer is shared.
Next, you need to connect to the desktop with an account that has a password. Shares can no longer be connected through an account with no password.
After you connect, you should have no problem printing.
