Didn’t the Roman Senate have a horse as a member once?

Well, we have at least part of the horse in the Senate right now.

Your point is well taken, a half ass at least

I thought that Caligula has appointed his horse to the senate but after further review, I think he actually appointed his horse as a counsel to the emperor or sumthin’ .. but if the horseshoe fits.. ;-)

Caligua’s horse was Incitatus, appointed a Roman Senator, adding to the road apples that were already there.
