“Right. Government jobs.”

This is why Maryland is so blue. We don’t feel the economic pinch as much as other areas because of all the Federal government jobs. It keeps the local and state economy afloat. On the other hand, Virginia is very much larger and their economy is different. We will work on our politics and turn this around.

Countless government agencies and entire departments need to dismantled. The whole damn government has gotten way too much out of hand. It just might take a full scale rebellion.

Maryland is in big trouble!

While we may suckle more deeply from the Federal teat, O’Malley and his crooks have been wasting money at a more extravagant pace than most states are capable. I actually think that when Maryland crashes it will be far worse, because of the fact that we have been propped up by access to Federal largess. It’s a false economy X’s 2!

I keep asking my smug, liberal, government union acquaintances what they expect of their jobs and pensions when the state goes broke?

Do they think that their money is going to be there? Safe and sound with a state which is badly mismanaged and billions of dollars in the red???

What are the chances the money will be there when the state pension bubble bursts. This is a pyramid scheme.

You’ve got Maryland’s situation figured out. Sad.

I feel your pain, fellow Marylander.
