..... Don’t laugh. Back in the early 70’s I got involved in one of those “really heavy” socio-political discussions with an African-American Harvard student who insisted that the cultural association of the color black with death and negativity in general (as in “Black Friday”) was proof of subliminal white racism in society at large.

Honest. You just can’t make this stuff up.
