As for fumbling snaps, etc., even the best NFL QBs do it. It just happens, especially if the snapper and QB haven't played together. I'm not worried about Tebow in the NFL. He'll be just fine. The kid has more drive and passion than most in the NFL already. His throwing motion is much maligned as well. But it isn't any worse than some NFL QBs like Vick, Young, Rivers, etc. Coming out of college, I thought Vince Youngs prolonged throwing motion was the biggest issue with his mechanics. He's faired quite well.
The NFL is guilty of trying to put all its players in the convenient 'box' of skills, mechanics, etc. Perhaps that's necessary. But they can't measure the heart, drive and desire to succeed.
Tebow will be a huge value pick for any team that selects him (and I have a strange feeling it will be the Colts).
And if Tebow doesn't make it in the NFL, I'm sure he's fine with that too. He lives his faith, and knows it will point him in the right direction, whatever that may be.
Whether he makes it in the NFL or not (and I think he will), he's already won.
Case in point (although not a QB):
Chris Spielman, driving force (along with Barry Sanders) of the Lion's early 90's "revival".
I think Tim will make a fine NFL player, but as a receiver instead of a qb. I like the idea of him in the slot, poised to go strong over the middle. At 6’3’ 240 lbs, he could be a monster tight end as well.
