Gov. Rendell flew to Haiti to deliver medical supplies and rescue 54 orphans after a woman who is a former U.S. attorney for Western Pennsylvania did the work in organizing the effort.
Mary Beth Buchanan spent four days, according to PaWaterCooler, obtaining clearance for the children to enter the United States, medical supplies, physicians to escort the children and an airplane cleared to land in Haiti.

About the only thing that would shock me more than that was if Altmire wasn't a supporter of Obamacare.
I have a problem with his and Altmire accompanying the group. It wasn’t necessary. Fast Eddie always takes advantage of any opportunity to make him look good. Altmire too.
It is an election year and Buchanan didn’t get the credit she deserved.
He didn’t vote for it but then his vote wasn’t needed to pass it. He voted after the 218 was reached. He’s another Pelosi Poodle.

After reading the article in the WSJ about the Clinton cronyism and profiteering in Haiti, I’m beginning to think that Rendell went down there just to keep his hand in the pot. There is money to be made on helping Haiti.
