Our message is clear: We are planting here, we will stay here, we will build here, this place will be an inseparable part of the State of Israel for eternity," Netanyahu said in the Gush Etzion enclave.
Speaking after meeting U.S. President Barack Obama's Middle East envoy in Jerusalem, Netanyahu vowed Israel would also keep its two biggest West Bank settlements, Maale Adumim and Ariel.
His comments came as no surprise to the Palestinians, who were put on notice by

BECAUSE
God being GOD ALMIGHTY
HIS PLAN
AND HIS TIMING
ARE . . . by definition . . .
PERFECT.
Somehow it suits HIS GLORY BETTER to do it the way He’s doing it.
And, He always makes it more than worth folks’ while to go along with His plan.
He has also promised that anyone WHO TRULY EARNESTLY SEEKS HIM, WILL FIND HIM.
I believe that can, MIGHT occur even at the moment of death though it’s not a doctrine I’d like to preach.
True, but immaterial to my point.
The Jews, who do not accept Christ, and according to John 14:6
cannot enter heaven, can not therefor be His "chosen people".
That’s an absolutely true Scriptures as is all Scripture.
However,
we do not KNOW all the ways and means that Christ has to draw anyone to Himself in any number of contexts.
Atheists dying of heart attacks have come back to life having met Jesus and becoming devoted to Him.
Not a risk I’d like to take . . . just saying . . .
I will not be surprised at all to see Jewish believers in Heaven who have met and accepted Jesus The Christ as their messiah in ways we have no conception of.
God is seeking hearts who are seeking HIM.
I suspect He has lots of ways of making ‘the arrangements’ that will fit that Scripture quite sufficiently.
Besides, I believe He is looking for Biblical ‘excuses’ to save people, not Biblical excuses to damn them.
It just torques me to see the Jews, who do NOT accept Christ,
flouted as the "chosen people" when scripture CLEARLY states
that without Christ there is NO salvation.
As if we Christians are pathetic second-raters. I think otherwise.
You advocate a course of action that would deliberately kill innocent children.
That is evil and antithetical to true Christianity.
If so, they ain't innocent.
Scripture is clear that
we are GRAFTED IN.
. . . GRAFTED INTO
THE VINE OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB . . .
via
the JEWISH MESSAIAH—THE JEW—JESUS, THE CHRIST.
A lot of Christians treat the Jews as 2nd class citizens . . . when in God’s eyes, they are clearly not.
The 12 thrones of the Patriarchs and the 12 thrones of the Disciples in Heaven make very clear
SOME SORT OF DUAL TRACK thing is going on—WHICH BOTH SIDES WILL JOIN IN CHRIST. NO SALVATION OUTSIDE OF CHRIST—CERTAINLY.
WHEN AND HOW God makes that real for every Jew that has had a heart after Him since 2,000 years ago is an interesting question. I just expect some surprises that are still quite Biblically sound—including the NT . . . because I don’t think that we have it all figured out this side of eternity with our finite understanding of even the New Testament.
Certianly, no man comes to The Father except through Christ. That is foundational.
I just don’t want to put God in a box as to how HE arranges that with an individual nor a people group.
There are Palestinian babies in the areas you would nuke.
Sucks to be them.
LOL!!!
I’ve never thought I was big enough [much less had the inclination]
to tell Almighty God
that HE doesn’t know what HE’s doing vis a vis
HIS chosen characters.
Well, they had just better not come around ME spouting
that “chosen people” malarkey when they fail to accept Christ.
(Storms off in a huff)
It says clearly in the Bible.
No Christ, no salvation.
The Jews do not accept Christ.
Draw the obvious conclusion.
That statement is incontrivertibly irrefutable.
A remant of Israel (True Israel - I mean Jews) will full-bore turn to Christ one of these days and shock those who thought God just replaced Israel with the Body of Christ.
Ezekiel 37 prophesies their nation’s regenaration.
Now, the Apsotles of the Lamb might have 12 thrones in Heaven, I don’t know. But I believe that one day those 12, minus Judas Iscariot, plus Matthias (Acts ch. 1) will sit on 12 thrones on this earth judging the 12 TRIBES of Israel in a Davidic kingdom with Jesus Christ on David’s Throne.
God is not finished with that nation.
The warfare going on in the Middle East today cannot be settled by the smartest politicians and diplomats-so-called of this generation, because there is a bitter war going on in the unseen spiritual world over that territory — as one preachers calls it — that “DEADLY PIECE OF DIRT” — all of the angelic realm knows that God has plans on this earth yet for the nation of Israel and the Davil won’t give up trying to mess things up as much as he can, knowing his days are numbered.
It is insane to proclaim a "chosen people" set aside by God to reject Christ.
It is schizophrenic for any Christian to sign on to such a "chosen people" ideology.
Yet many do, typically with some apocalyptic excuse for doing it.
INDEED.
Have you forgotten the Scripture about the 4 & 20 elders?
KJV of course. LOL.
Check out Rev 4:4
Keep hitting it, Brother!
They like to call us “sophomores,” and ask us, “And your knowledge of Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic come from where?” Stuff like that.
With every passing generation the TRUE “original languages” experts get fewer and fewer, but the ones who like to think they are the experts grow in number.
Somebody wants mastery over somebody else — always — that’s the nature of religion, intellectual religion, philosophical religion.
Just keep throwing THE BOOK out there to them, Brother.
"Weird little sub-designations" are very handy. Rather than spending hundreds of words describing how one interprets a theological point, one can simply describe oneself as a Creationist, as Pro-Life, that you believe in Baptism by immersion ... the list goes on and on.
That's why the Good Lord gave us language. If two people want to talk about a point of light in the sky, they use the word "star" rather than begin a complete explanation of what they are trying to talk about.
This isn't the same as Paul's "I am of Cephas, I am of Paul ..." admonition. In that instance, believers were dividing the body into camps as though they were separate gospels.
This is more in line with the Bereans, who examined the Scripture and pursued Truth.
You attacked Quix claiming his interpretation of Scripture is un-Christian yet you were scared to explain how you interpret it. You hid behind this " weird little sub-designations" rant, knowing full well Christians are not in agreement on a LOT of theological points. Eschatology is one of the least agreed-upon areas of doctrine among people who share a genuine belief in the grace of Jesus.
Your attitude that you have The Truth, but refusing to share The Truth is divisive and if you are correct in your theology it is selfish.
