If I had been the good General...I would have shot back at boxir that he would be more than happy to call her Senator if she would agree to call him GENERAL because he too worked hard to earn his title. Harder probably as we all know. boxir is a joke. lip liner looking so old hat.

A true statesman interprets "I'm on the people's side" to mean, "I'm going to be guided and limited by 'The People's' Constitution in order to defend and protect the liberty of all Americans."

Isn’t it odd that we don’t have a clearer idea of what the hell these people are worth. I mean, why is it so fuzzy? And can they really represent the average joe and jane?

Rush said during his one minute radio blurb the other day that Boxer is ahead by only a few points in a state that hasn’t elected a Republican senator in 42 years. Not sure who gave him that incorrect info, or maybe it was just a typo. But Pete Wilson was reelected in 1988. So it’s only 22 years. Long enough. Come to think of it, I suppose we would have been better off it Wilson had not run for gov. in 1990. Assuming he had run again in ‘94 he would have been a favorite and we might not ever have had Feinstein, at least.
