Especially when those figures you show give us only 5 years to turn it around! Very serious stuff.
Also consider that UNION membership dropped in the private sector, but increased in the public sector -— that means we taxpayers are supporting those damn people. Government employees have no business unionizing. Their retirements are bankrupting CA and other states. It’s all part of a long running plan. Rebellion is brewing, just like Jim says.
The initially reported #’s were misreported. This
is apparently what’s been officially confirmed.

Risking Israel’s ire, US takes 1,350 Palestinian refugees

Right. I worked for the state in the ‘60s & all civil service employees were barred from organizing. The CSEA took care of problems, helped us just fine. This SEIU is nothing more than a nationwide MAFIA!
Honestly, if I were Sarah, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere around McCain due to what she went through with his campaign staff. Perhaps it’s a case of keep your friends close and your enemies closer, but her campaigning for him now? Yeah, not a great idea... It’s not going to help her, and as much as I love the woman I’m seriously curious as to WHY she would campaign for that loser!
You’re right about that. I don’t understand why she would campaign for McCain after what he and his campaign put her through...
John’s been back pedaling, a lot lately in his commercials. Where the hell was THIS MCCAIN in 2008?
UGH. Swell, they’re resettling in Southern CA and that probably means in our East County or on the Mesa where three of the 9/11 hijackers lived!
That may be beneficial is rousing the rabble or goosing the goobers but it ain’t true. Professor Olson disavows all of it. It has shown up after the past three Presidential elections with the date and parties changed but the same inaccurate numbers. It’s balderdash.
As if McCain hasn’t done that in the last year alone??? Pot meet kettle!
You’re so right! SEIU is a mafia of its own. Thuggery, if that’s a word. Those people mean business, too.
What do you mean by "back pedaling?
McCain acting feisty and conservative now that his back is against the wall, is that what you're saying?
Is it false information? I copied it from LaLydia’s post and she showed no link. It looked good to me...lol.
yep, but can’t trust him. the amnesty garbage was the end, well that and his insistence on “standing across the aisle” with the dems, time and time again. i only donated to his campaign for president because of his VP pick.
I don’t know much about Arizona, I do know that Shadegg is retiring and it’s an open seat. No idea if JD lives in the district or if any chance he’d only run for a Representative position at this point in his career.
District 3:
[ John Shadegg (R)* - Retiring in 2010. ]
The 3rd Congressional District of Arizona consists of much of central and north Phoenix, Paradise Valley, and the communities of Carefree, Cave Creek, and Anthem. The 3rd District is bounded approximately by Scottsdale Road on the east, Thomas Road in east Phoenix on the south, Bethany Home Road in central Phoenix on the south, 43rd Avenue on the west (67th Avenue on the west, north of Pinnacle Peak Road) and extends north to the Maricopa/Yavapai County line.
Yes, it’s false. It’s kicked around the internet for the past ten years or so.
Vernon Parker (?) the former mayor of Paradise Valley was going to run for gov, but when Shadegg announced he was retiring, Parker pulled out of the Govt race and is going to run for Rep.
Exactly. He can wait to reach across the aisle and it’s past time for ALL of the fossils to retire or be retired. None of them are irreplaceable. I’ve never heard of such nonsense that we “need” them.
LOL. I still like it, so I guess I am a gooberette...lol. It plays very well with me and I do think the evidense supports the claim that we’re on the fast track to a forever changed America within 5 years if amnesty is granted.
Shadegg is retiring?
I like him better than JD.
