Since you are blocking posting privileges for our readers we are citing you for copyright violation.
One of your posters has re-published an original article in its entirety. This is stealing intellectual property from a non-profit organization. Either pull it down or hear from the lawyers.
You have 24 hours and you are now obligated to prove that it was removed. If you do not respond we will commence with legal action.

"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." -- George Orwell
The New Media Journal is a division of BasicsProject.org, a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) research and education initiative whose mission is the reintroduction of the American citizenry to our constitutional ideology and to educate the public on critical issues facing our nation, chiefly, the threats of radical Islam and the advancing American Fifth Column.
LOL
Yep.
That’s the one.
“Chuck” is my favorite show!!
Little leaguers, obviously someone with a runaway ego who is insanely jealous of FR.
Huh? FR is blocking New Media readers from posting? How would FR know who is and who is not a New Media reader?
If New Media readers were not blocked, then it would be ok to post entire articles from New Media? Count me confused.
Now can we ban all the other blogs (at least those whose sole purpose is to spam FR with one sentence teasers posing as breaking news but simply rehashing yesterday’s news).
And to me, there is a disconnect between the stated “educational” purpose of a blog, and the desire for hits. If ya wanna educate, fine, educate, don’t tease (especially when the “payoff” for our click is a worthless re-hash of yesterday’s NYT).
JR is saying don’t post articles from that blog. It’s readers may post any other legitimate matter, no doubt.
No big loss.
That is really shabby behavior (to say the least).
Larry, I’m saying that New Media is claiming that FR is blocking posting privileges for New Media readers. How is that possible?
The first line of text from post 65 might explain that somewhat.
Because Palin is a RINO.
How does FR know who their readers are so that they can be banned from posting?
We don’t. Have no idea what he’s talking about.
But as a result of his threat, no material from his site can now be posted to FR.
That's what I figured.
Like many others, I’ve never heard of them. So, compliance will be easy.
I get enough info for my two blogs from other sources anyways, so no loss to me.
It’s good to know who is and isn’t a reliable source.
They were pimping their own freelance writers. And NewMediaJournal was posting articles themselves, the 'editor' (Frank someone?) created the FR account. And HE posted all the articles.
I avoided them like 10 day old Headcheese left in the hot sun.
Did you send Mr. Salvato a link to this thread? :)
