Ouch.
Not unprecedented. Not unexpected.
Not inherited.
Just bad.
That's why I posted this article. I knew this self-serving speech by our man/child president would lift my spirits, because Obambi is desperate; Reid is desperate; Pelosi is desperate. Their marxist machine is falling apart around them after the Governor wins and now Senator Brown.
I have not been this enthused for years, and that includes the later days of Bush and the Republican Congress with their spending.
Maybe, just maybe, Joe-six-pack-Soccor-Mom are starting to catch on about the horrendous debt their children are going to inherit, not to mention DC trying to screw up their own world class health care as they age. Yes, I agree some improvements could be made in the system.
Enjoy your day, Doctor - I am. BTW, I have this strange little facial tick that occurs when I see obambi talk. Is that psychosomatic or physiological? Got pill?
Well, you're all welcome but we might need a few more tables and a larger living room. Ha!
Ah, but Ronald Reagan respected the office of the President. This clown is all about using the office of the President to further an anti-American agenda.
What in the tarnation did the false messiah say now? Bet me Pelosi and the ilk will have a secret meeting and pass ObamaCareCommunism with dead body votes just when everybody thinks they are backing down.
The dems will pull some sorta shock tactic just watch. They will sneak in ObamaCare Communism or Obama will resign and overbite Hill will step in. I say America needs to impeach Obama and hold a special election put a raid motel in DC clean em all but a few out and elect Brown. I am dreaming now.
Saying of course it’s not about him when in fact it’s all about him.
2010.
I'd support you but it ain't gonna happen like that. We'll have to do this the old fashioned way: get a LOT of people to vote these cr@p sandwiches out of office.
But Wait, Obama's New Bank Plan Won't Fix A Thing
*********************************EXCERPT***********************************
We agree with President Obama that it is ludicrous that, a year after a financial crisis almost destroyed the US economy, regulators haven't changed a thing.
Tim Geithner's "Too Big To Fail" policy is firmly in place, and our financial institutions can do whatever they want again.
So we were relieved to hear that Obama is finally deciding to do something about this.
But here's the problem: His new proposal won't fix a thing.
Under Obama's proposal, "banks" will no longer be able to trade for their own accounts or own, sponsor, or invest in hedge funds. So if you want to trade for your own account or own, sponsor, or invest in hedge funds, then... just don't be a bank!
In the fall of 2008, Lehman Brothers wasn't a bank. Neither was Bear Stearns. Or Goldman, Morgan, or Merrill Lynch. Or Fannie or Freddie. Or AIG--remember AIG?
None of these firms were banks.
Unprecedented!
Ready, fire, aim.
He is incompetent. He was elected by a combination of the desire of the electorate to repudiate Bush and his glib bestial cunning.
When Obama speaks, investors run!
You sound surprised. Other than the Independents who actually believed obambi's lies about transparent government, most were made up of those with their hands out. They want stuff. They believe they have a right to health care, jobs, TV's, cars, real property (thank Bawny Fwank and others), and any material possession that they desire from the hard-working taxpayers.
Fair to them, is getting stuff from the producers of a society, because some have more. They will never understand the Constitutional promise of "equal opportunity" versus "equal outcome".
I know this from life experience. I am the product of "opportunity" and "self-determination". I retired at 47 years. If I, as a no-load at 16 who left the "broken family" and lived in cars and worked at widget factories for minimum pay and slep in sleezy motels for years, anyone can turn their life for the better. I have no tolerance for those who want to benefit from my success. Let them make their own way or fail. Screw 'em and screw the marxist agendas that promote such.
He sounds as though he has lost his mind.
He sounds crazy to me.
