No, he is not. How dare he try to get some traction out of our vote. His disgraceful behavior is part of the reason the vote turned out the way it did. We don't want any more slime like him in Congress!

My new hobby this fall, if I can swing it, will be making small but meaningful contributions to the opponents of people like this, in part to help repay the FReepers who contributed to Scott Brown here in Mass.!

Well, well, if it isn’t Ben Nelson from friggin’ Nebraska. Benny, you’re toast. Shut your pie-hole. You had your chance. Nobody is listening anymore to what you have to say.

The libs are just like any other criminals: They’re bold and unapologetic while in the midst of their crime spree, but once caught they’re suddenly sorry and pleading for leniency. Sorry Ben, your time for contriteness was BEFORE you took the bribe.

Oh brother. Nelson thought Washington was just fine a few weeks ago when Reid and Pelosi bribed him for his ‘yes’ vote.

Why should it be across the board for incumbents when not one Republican in the Senate voted for Obamacare. Trying to tie himself in with the people that voted NO like they are all alike is not too smart as anyone with an ounce of brain can see through his ploy.

He wasn’t against DC when he took the deal (bribe) for Nebraska from Reid for his vote. He cut his deal (bribe) and Reid got his vote. Looks to me like Nelson doesn’t like his falling numbers or going out for pizza and being boo’d.

Gosh, this is even more hypocritical than Sen. Evan Bayh complaining about how the radical left took over the Democratic Party.

Fellas, isn't it a little late for remorse???

Well he got this part right:

“Washington is dysfunctional and not working together for them”

We need HISTORICAL ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME reform in Washington

1. FairTax (http://www.fairtax.org).
2. Repeal the 16th Amendment.
3. Modify the 17th Amendment to include first nominations by state legislatures followed by votes of the people.
4. Resolve ambiguities in the 14th Amendment to clarify that children born of 2 Non-US foreign nationals are NOT automatically US citizens.
5. Reform the Federal Reserve or federalize it.
6. Abolish the Department of Education and move to cut the number of cabinet position by at least 1/3, including demotion of the EPA.
7. Outlaw Abortion on Demand.

The current stae of affairs in our United States is NOT WORKING FOR ME, MY FAMILY, MY FRIENDS. Is it working for you?

Fed up? Sure, like some bloated cruise passenger waddling away from the dining room. Like a fat little baby pig who has been snarfing at the government trough.

No, Sen. Nelson, it's we who are fed up with you.

"Clearly, the vote showed that people are frustrated with Washington...and I am too," Nelson said in a statement. "That frustration will likely register across the board for all incumbents. The overriding message from yesterday is that people are upset because  is dysfunctional and not working together for them."

Your getting close, 'Big Taxpayer Bucks' Ben. Try disgusted with Washington and on the verge of revolt.

Centrist [sic] Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) said Wednesday that he -- like voters in Massachusetts who elected Republican Scott Brown -- is frustrated with Washington.

Sheesh he thinks that we're stupid.

Nelson is such a snake.
