Car we as Conservatives back John McCain? No. Can we as Conservatives back someone who can? I don’t think I can.
Like it or not McCain is a Soros protege. I’m just not buying into that or anyone who can.
Loyalty to what? McCain? That’s not loyalty to Conservatism.
There is no comparison between polygamy and homosexuality - other than if one is allowed, why not the other, which polygamists use as a way to legalize it.
Polygamy was not uncommon in the past in many cultures (and of course currently in Islam but I do not give a rip what Islam does since it is a cruel and oppressive political system in truth). The Old Testament is full of examples, as are the Vedas. Polygamy is between a man and more than one woman, so it is not against the laws of nature. It is just currently socially unacceptable and illegal.
Homosexual acts are inherently offensive to the laws of nature. Polygamy is not.
well of course...Loyal to the man who chose her for his running mate...the only reason McQueeg got any votes at all was because of Palin. She holds fealty to him for that....and I respect her for that...but she is not backing McCain for his RINO politics...she is backing him because she feel she owns him that much. I respect her for that. I know she must be grinding her teeth and not happy at all for backing him in his reelection bid, but loyalty is the way she was raised and it is something she needs to do at this time. FYI she has turned down backing RINOs on more than one occasion. you have to look at the whole picture.
1. You join a ticket to make it better
2. You don’t make this candidate any better by supporting him against a better man
3. It’s our nation at stake here
4. Misguided rules of etiquette do not absolve this level of poor judgement

This is respectful and reasoned.
One of the reasons I won’t support Meg Whitman in California for governor is her association with McCain.
The idea of McCain being a rainmaker for Conservatism, disgusts me. I do not want his policies living on as he passes from the national stage. His day in the limelight is over.
Our movement being betrayed by him is over.
If people don’t know enough not to back this guy, then they don’t know enough or think clearly enough to lead.

American law has always tried to uphold the rights of the weak against the strong. In the case of marriage, the weak are children, who deserve a mother and a father. The strong are the organized lobby of sexual fetish thugs who want to redefine marriage in order to deny their sexual identity disphoria. The article you linked to is crap.
Not to dis Gura, but I liked your response. The point about the weak and the strong was particularly compelling to me.
