I sure wish folks would read the Constitution and demand equality and equal protection under the law for all American citizens.

Just a couple of thoughts:

1. Which portion of the Constitution gives ANYONE the the right to marry?

2. What state denies ANY unmarried adult who is not incarcerated the right to marry?

Homosexuals have EXACTLY THE SAME rights that everyone else does.

1. Cindy McCain is different from John McCain.

2. After his defeat, John McCain has learned his lessons: bipartisanship is dangerous in the Era Of Obama. He’s been consistently conservative last year. In 2009, McCain didn’t give us any trouble, right? Plus, John McCain is the face of National Security theme of the GOP, the main job of the POTUS.

3. Palin coming to Arkansas is not necessarily for McCain. The occassion is actually a fundraising ceremony for AR’s GOP to support all R/C in AR.

4. Palin’s loyalty to those who trusted and helped her has no bound despite the “backstabbing” of McCain’s camp. Her weakness if you must say. But it’s like damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t. There is already “ready” snipe against her if she doesnt: PALIN IS JUST FOR PALIN, which has been going around lately.

5. A moderate RINO John McCain is actually good for Palin. Who says Palin is “FAR RIGHT” now? Plus, Palin’s only BACKER inside GOP is the old sinner named “McCain”. He’s Sarah’s lifeline if she decides to run for POTUS as a Republican.

6. I’m socially conservative (anti-abortion, strength of family, God above human laws, etc.) besides a “freaking” fiscally conservativism beleiver. But in 21st Century, I don’ think I should impose my “values” onto others. On gay issue alone, I prefer STABLE MARRIAGE for gays rather than seeing GAYS wantonly making out with anyone they find on the street. Let them have what they want. Besides, a “law” is always a prison (constraint) to an individual. Let them have the prison cell they’re asking. Caveat: Let them do it to THEIR OWN CHURCHES to do their own kind of marriage. BUT LET ME BE CLEAR. I oppose “federal” law on marriage. It’s unconstitutional.

Lastly,

7. A conservative McCain is a formidable “SENIOR” force in the Senate. The Rules of the Senate actually honors seniority. A junior Senator doesn’t have much privilege especially when it comes to committee chairmanship and other positions. So, a new AR senator will actually be a “smaller” Senator on the part of AR people. Yes, WE ARE A FEDERAL UNION but Federalism means that “we are independent states” to some degree and there is nothing to prevent each state to get “the most” out of the Federal Government.

Despite the above, I HATE JOHN MCCAIN AND HIS CAMPAIGN STAFF.

In the end, Poor Sarah! So tied up with that old man!

BWA HA HA HA!

I understand that you should place God and Country before a backstabbing RINO.

Is this the Cindy we all knew to be that staunch republican with a narrow outlook on equality? On a positive aspect, it could be true that not all republicans are anti-gay marriage.

Or is it another indication that the McCains are Republican in name only?

we have to keep to our basics as conservatives.....constitutional law and financial frugalness....

My basics of conservatism are respect for life and traditional family values. I don't give a sh*t about the ecomony if we're living in Sodom and murdering our children.

As the mother to vocal marriage equality advocate, Meghan McCain, we are surprised at such unanticipated support.

Hey VeMoronica, please get an ObamaGrant and learn to write in English. Who is the mother in this sentence? "We"?

Oh, I am sure that the fathers of the Fourteenth Amendment were deeply concerned that Sodomites should have an equal right to marry a same sex partner.

Please answer two questions: 1. Do you believe in speed limits, taxes of any sort, highway laws, and laws against adults having sex with babies? If so, you are imposing your “values” on others.
2. What is your rationale that federal law on marriage is unconstitutional?

A gay man has the right to marry either a straight/gay woman any time he wants just as gay woman can marry gay/straight man anytime she wants. THAT is equal protection under the law. Being able to marry a “house cat” is a new thing, just as man/man or woman/woman marriage is a new thing. That is the argument. Additionally, if gay marriage is OK, so is plural marriages of any configuration. Legally 10 people could all be married. That is equal protection under the law. Libs providing anecdotal information about a gay couple here or there that has been together for 20 years, etc. is useless. Study after study confirms that man/man relationships are extremely transient.

The issue is that libs continually try to change language to suit their goals. Just like the whole “pro-choice” thing. It isn’t pro- or anti-choice it is pro- or anti-abortion. If you change the language then you deceive people. Marriage has been between males and females for the entire definition of the word. “Health care reform” is another example of that. In all reality, that monster was closer to “insurance reform” but “health care reform” plays better.

Words matter and so do their definitions.

And the Judeo-Christian values our Founders held above all else.

I wish this family would just piss off

I bet their daughter has announced that she wants to be a sick pervert and now the mother feels she should support her.

All this stems form her moaning that she can’t get a guy after the election

So marriages of a parent with their child, three or more people, or between man and animal are cool too, it's the 21st century man, who are we to impose our "values" on others.

there is only marriage for a man and a woman anything else is just sick and wanted by sexually sick perverts.

If anyone states that they should have same sex then every argument for it can and should be sued for any kind of sick marriage
