“If no serious conservative candidate steps up (and it’s possible that Palin has inside information that we don’t), McCain will be our guy in the 2010 general election.”

Y’mean in Arizona in 2010, or for President in 2012?

If she keeps her standards and doesn’t lie down with dogs, SHE would be a “serious conservative candidate” and we could kick McCain to the curb.

Y’mean in Arizona in 2010,

Since I said 2010 general election and because the thread is about Palin campaigning in the primary season of 2010, I assumed it was clear that I meant the 2010 Arizona Senate general election.

or for President in 2012?

Good Lord, NO. McCain was the 2008 mistake (and almost the mistake of 2000).

If she keeps her standards and doesn’t lie down with dogs, SHE would be a “serious conservative candidate”

If no conservative steps up in the primaries to challenge McCain in the primaries, how is Palin compromising her standards by campaigning for McCain? McCain will undoubtedly be more conservative than whoever the Democrats run for the Arizona Senate seat.
