Not only is Keyes a flake, he's also a bullpuckey artist of the first order.

Notice his guidelines for what makes a RINO:

Has no differences in principle with the socialist minded Democrats;

Embraces the substance of Obama's socialist agenda, but "opposes" Obama by criticizing his implementation of socialism, especially when it comes to fiscal matters;

Agrees in principle with the Democrats on the fundamental issues of justice and morality but employs the deceptive rhetoric of personal opinion to evade the questions of public law and policy they involve. Such issues include child-murder and other abrogations of the unalienable right to life, as well as the rejection of the God endowed rights of the natural family.

So far as we can tell, Scott Brown fits none of those qualifications, yet Keyes tries to slide him in as the "advance man" for the "RINO agenda."

Clearly, Alan Keyes has gone off the rails.

“So far as we can tell, Scott Brown fits none of those qualifications”

In his own words: Scott Brown on

Abortion
“While this decision should ultimately be made by the woman in consultation with her doctor, I believe we need to reduce the number of abortions in America. I believe government has the responsibility to regulate in this area and I support parental consent and notification requirements and I oppose partial birth abortion. I also believe there are people of good will on both sides of the issue and we ought to work together to support and promote adoption as an alternative to abortion.”

and

Marriage
“I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. States should be free to make their own laws in this area, so long as they reflect the people’s will as expressed through them directly, or as expressed through their elected representatives.”

In other words, he thinks abortion should be legal and available, and that states should be free to implement “marriage” between sodomites, with all that implies.

As this shows, Scott Brown fits Keyes’ description to a T.

Every time someone posts something by Alan Keyes, a gang of critics jumps in to call him “a flake” and worse.

I am truly puzzled at this, and wonder what motivates it. When I check, I discover that the criticisms of Keyes are without merit, as here. Why this eagerness to damage Keyes’ reputation?

Look at the senator-elect’s campaign website. He thought the Massachusetts version of mandatory health coverage was fine. He believes that abortion is a woman’s “choice.” His only stated opposition to same-sex “marriage” was that it should be passed by the Legislature or a state referendum.I think Dr. Keyes nailed it.

Is a fiscal conservative and social liberal a RINO?
