Brown takes out trash, keeps low profile

Republican State Sen. Scott Brown – who capitalized on Attorney General Martha Coakley’s absence over the Christmas break — spent the day doing errands and calling neighbors in what aides are calling an “election day ritual.”
Brown, who is currently at the Park Plaza hotel, took out the trash and went to the post office before visiting campaign offices to thank volunteers.
Every election day he makes sure to call those close to him and tell them how important their support his, the aide said.
