She’s only getting 1% of Republican votes...37% of unaffiliated voters are voting for her.

"...Coakley leads 47% to 46% among voters 50 and older."

Must be the same 47% morons who want BO to cut their Medicare in order to provide free healthcare to illegals. AARP magazine can really screw up your head if it isn't screwed on right to begin with.

So what this survey says is 37% of Republicans in Mass are idiots? How could a Republican EVER vote for Kookley?

NAh, republicans support Brown 94% to 1% in this poll. One ditzy lefty republican supports Coakley in the entire sample.

Whenever you partition poll results by age, sex, political affiliation, or whatever; the margin of error increases for each of the subgroups. The margin of error depends on the size of the sample. If you divide by (say) sex, then the sample size is reduced by (about) half & the margin of error increases a lot. If the M.O.E. is (say) +/4% for a sample of 600; it increases to about +/- 6% for a sample of 300. The results by age, or by sex, etc. could vary substantially within the M.O.A. Let’s hope this is not a contrived poll to fool the GOP again. I suppose it will all depend on turnout, but it’s hard to see how a Senate seat is won when the MA House delegation is 100 percent Democrat.

I correct myself. LOL! Have had to suffer seven years in the Bay State, it will be an amazing victory when Brown wins! I hope it sends tingles up Dave Matthews’s leg!

Good point, it could be an outlier. I know the statistics formula. When Bush ran the first time I memorized it. :-}

Polls that have two candidates so close are meaningless this close to an election. We get the candidate we deserve.

I agree, Rassmussen of all the pollsters seems to be the best. He only polls registered voters.

I think some will give Coakly a mini bump tomorrow because the Messiah is coming to town. But on Tuesday, it all comes down to turnout, will the rising tide for Brown overcome the wave of dead voters that ACORN and company will employ?

It HAS to be a solid win, a real close one will allow for all the tricks in their books to be employed.

Come on MA! You can do it! You started the Americian Revolution over 200 years ago. Feel free to light off the new revolution!

IMHO, NRO was remiss in not reporting the M.O.E. for the overall results, and for each of the subgroups.

There is absolutely NO way that a Republican will be allowed to win this election. Most of the above posters are whistling past the graveyard. The fix is in, and - surprise! - Martha's going to "win" by a quite healthy margin; this is, after all, "Teddy's seat".

Get real, people. The machine will take care of all this.

HELP SCOTT DEFEAT THE OBAMA SOCK PUPPET!!

(stole this from another FReeper, but bears repeating)

•People in ANY state can volunteer for the phone bank! http://www.resistnet.com/forum/topics/phone-calls-for-freedom-call-1?commentId=2600775%3AComment%3A1891491&xg_source=activity

•Anyone… Anywhere… Contribute! https://www.icontribute.us/scottbrown

•Live in or near MA? Volunteers still needed at many regional offices. If you can help, please email Laura@brownforussenate.com and she will tell you how.

•If you live in Massachusetts, become an election judge. In Boston they pay $135-$185 and they NEED Republican monitors.

Needed; military and retired law enforcement VFW and police organizations etc to monitor polls- prevent the voter fraud they’re plotting right now. Video tape everything; document everything; prosecute the perpetrators. http://www.cityofboston.gov/news/default.aspx?id=3599

IF they can keep it close, Boston can supply all the needed votes to make up. If its not close, they can't cheat.
