Okay, not to rain on everyone’s parade who, but most of you do realize while we are cheering on Brown to win in MA on Tuesday to stop health care, I predict that if he wins, in the next several months, he’ll become another one of the hated Senate RINOS.
I’m sure most saw the CSPAN debate earlier this week and his wishy-washy answer on abortion and Roe v Wade leaves in doubt how he would vote on court nominations in the Senate. I was also not convinced in how he answered questions in regard to stopping illegal immigration. While he may be a good vote to stop the health care bill or support the troops, I find it somewhat amusing that the board known for full spectrum conservative principles is embracing what appears to be another RINO.
Don’t get me wrong, I want Brown to win too, but this goes back to the problem of getting real conservative candidates to stand in elections that we are confident they are solid on all the issues across the board.
I remember when this board embraced Michael Steele when he first ran for the Senate in MD, and I tried to warn folks that while he was a good alternative in a state as left as MD, on the national scene he was going to be viewed as a CINO. And lo and behold.
So support Brown, but I would urge cautious optimism.
Baby steps in a deep blue state is still good.

Sure, but so what?
Why do you want to accentuate the negative?
Just look for at least three very positive effects if Brown wins, or even if he simply comes very close:
1. Dhimmis from sea to shining sea will be seriously shaken and therefore will moderate their radical leftwing agendas. No cap and tax, no card check, no big tax increases, maybe even no Øbummercare.
2. Excellent ‘Pub candidates — who otherwise might never enter the 2010 races — will be energized to run and may defeat a number of incumbent “safe” Dhimmi congresscritters.
3. An enthused ‘Pub base will contribute more dollars and more volunteer hours than otherwise they might to the cause of defeating Dhimmis, and they will show up at the polls in Nov. 2010 perhaps like never before.
So take heart and keep on the sunny side!
Other than being somewhat pro-choice, you identify Brown as a RINO because...??
