"Moses had the advantage of a royal education and the ability to put all of these wonderful writings together." Unquestionably true, but did he write in Hebrew? Any royal education he had was Egyptian. The REAL smoking gun would be the Hebrew language written in Egyptian hieroglyphics.
To: MrB
Why certainly. (poor grammar, but what the heck)
Everyone knows Jesus read the parables from the Bible to the masses that he fed with a fish and a loaf of bread.

Well, since it contains tributes to Caesars Julius and Augustus (ever wonder why OCTober is the 10th month?)
then I’d guess it was a Roman, probably Julius.

Jesus, the second person of the holy divine eternal trinity and God through which all was made, entered time and space in 0 AD, lived here for 30 some years, was crucified, rose again, and sits at the right hand of the Father, and will come again. Maybe your Jesus was born in 0 ad and lived for 30 years. Most followers of the Messiah recognize that Yah'shua
was born in ~3 BCE at the YHvH commanded Feast of Booths,
where He Tabernacled among us.
Began his ministry at age 30.
Yah'shua became the Passover Lamb sacrificed to cover
all the sins of those who call on His NAME: YHvH be my salvation.
Yah'shua told us that there is only ONE YHvH.
Not two or not three.

IIRC, the original ‘pieces’ of the Bible were lost.
Only the Hebrew versions, written later and probably based on ‘oral traditions’ were found (Lost Sea Scrolls).
If one goes back and looks, most of the stories in the Old Testament were based on stories from ancient Sumeria.
Even our modern ‘legal system’ concepts are based on the CODE of the Hammurabi.

Most followers of the Messiah (Christians or Messianic Jews) don't know what year He was born, but will believe almost anything that a really smart sounding guy tells them as long as it was around 2000 years ago.
They also believe that Jesus said that "I and My Father are one." - John 10:30.

Close. It is the Gregorian Calendar. Pope Gregory XIII.
Decreed by papal bull in 1582. Prior to that time, the Julian Calendar was in use.

See post 49.
Ironic, isn’t it? All these ‘experts’ on BC, AD, BCE, and the Bible, and none seem aware of who established our current ‘calendar’?

Bull. Similarities between the two are no indication of which was based on the other unless dates of origin can be firmly established.

They also believe that Jesus said that "I and My Father are one." - John 10:30. Are we not all "one with the Father"?
If not, what is the difference in those two qoutes?

I break BCE/CE into the aforementioned words, and it really irritates the Atheists and Agnostics. I enjoy doing that.

(ever wonder why OCTober is the 10th month?)No. But I do know why.
In the Julian calendar, OCTOBER was actually the eighth month. OCTO=8, like in OCTAL (base 8 numbering system).
Now JULY, for instance, was named after the calendar's creator Julis Caesar. It used to be the fifth month, and was originally named Quintilis (which stands for 'fifth'.

Similarities between the two are no indication of which was based on the other unless dates of origin can be firmly established. It may be that one was not based on the other, but that both were based on something which predated even the Sumerian civilization.

Who claimed to be an expert?Wrong word, perhaps.
I wasn't pointing the finger at you, in particular. Matter of fact, you have been open and honest in your responses, admitting you aren't sure, but willing to hazard a guess, and being open-minded to any answers.
I appreciate your responses.
