If Lieberman has a spine, he will come out against this Dog’s Breakfast of a bill. Harry Reid has completely scuttled the Senate rules and any semblance of bipartisan debate, things which Joe Lieberman has claimed in the past to value highly, and all in service to a bill that every person in America knows is deeply flawed.
Joe Lieberman can be a hero of the American People if he makes a principled stand here. If he chooses to knuckle under, it tells us everything we need to know about him, and we need never listen to his “principled” positions on anything, again.
