Bill Stouffer is the real deal. He is a State Senator from a heavily democratic district. He was reelected two years ago with something like 65% of the vote. He is a business owner, very conservitive.
Who will she be running against?
I can do a Rolla meeting. It’s just under 1.5 hour drive time.
I see the St Louis freepers are trying to pull everyone to St Louis. No offense to anyone in St Louis or KC, but politics in Missouri don’t revolve just around St Louis. The center of government is Jefferson city and that is where people can make a difference.
In the Capital you are given the chance, face to face in many occasions, to come into an open door to your district legislative office, sign in, and personally hand out printed info on legislation that matters to you. Plus you have access to the House Speaker, Senate Speaker, Majority Whip etc. Those people are very instrumental in allowing legislation to proceed or die.
After the Sovereignty Rally I received email from every office I visited including the Speakers.
Believe me, a group of people meeting in St louis, Tea Party, freepers etc, is not even on the radar in Jefferson City. We have to think BIG picture.
Correct me, But I think the other Leutkemeyer is maybe a candidate for State House and not sitting.
