Yep, I feel the same way. I did hear Medina speak on Mark Davis’ show, I believe, and liked what I heard. But I fear she doesn’t have the clout and we don’t know WHO she is. She needs to get advice from Scott Brown! I will check her out and probably make a donation to her campaign. But in the end I will cast a regretful vote for Perry, as I did for McCain.

... the time for casting the regretful vote for Perry is in the runoff if Debra doesn’t make it into the top 2... not in the March primary.

What folks need to remember is that KBH can’t win the nomination unless she gets a majority of the vote no matter how the remaining votes between Perry and Medina on March 2nd are divided. In other words, if your main concern on March 2nd is to make sure Kay doesn’t win then it is mathematically immaterial whether the remaining vote between Perry/Medina is divided 90/10, 60/40, or 50/50. As long as Perry and Medina’s vote combined equals 50%+1 of the votes cast there still has to be a runoff in order for KBH to win.

In other words, for those most concerned about a KBH victory, there is essentially ZERO RISK in voting for Debra Medina on March 2nd if she is your first choice for governor. If Medina ends up finishing 3rd on March 2nd (like most now assume she will), then you vote for Perry in the runoff (which you would have had to do anyway).
