Team Coakley will probably be up all night trying to figure out how to spin this incident AND their earlier denials.
Coakley actually had an opportunity to redeem herself by going to the reporter’s aid (as I am certain Scott Brown would have) but instead ran away. What a perfect metaphor for her and the Dims.
Also -this could not have happened at a worse time - the middle of the week and five days out.
Two things that could “save” her - 1. MSM buries the story 2. Haiti dominates the cycle

Is he related to former Masshole Rep. MARTY Meehan?? (who left Congress to take a favorite pork-barrel position of the Demagogues, as a university “chancellor” on taxpayer funds (U. Mass., Lowell), probably making far into the 6 figures of public $$ per year? Could it be one of those Meehans? Inquiring minds need to know.......
