If you have read up to this point and are thinking to yourself, “I’m totally unprepared! What do I do?” Don’t worry, you are still free, so there is still time. Being prepared puts the mind at ease. Remember, don’t tell anyone that you are preparing.
Step One: Become a Christian. Read the Bible. Start with the New Testament then go on to the Old. Pray.
Step Two: Pull your kids out of government school and homeschool them.
Step Three: Know that if you surrender, you will probably die.
Food:
Survival Food Tablets

One bottle will last one person for 15 days. Buy at least 50 bottles per family member and you won’t have to worry about the government and their food rationing. Also, start a fruit, vegetable, and grain garden. Earthbox (http://store.earthbox.com/products.asp?dept=12) makes this easy to do in any environment.
Water:
Buy one of these for each family member. Then you can get pure water from any source no matter how dirty. Also, start filling milk cartons with water and putting them in the freezer.
Heat:
Fill up on firewood or coal. If you don’t have a fireplace, get a wood stove and route the pipe out a window. If you can’t do that, get an Absolute Zero Suit (http://mountainhardwear.com/Product.aspx?top=1827&prod=1311&cat=1871&viewAll=False).
Protection:
AR10 Rifle for each family member with as much ammo as you can get. Give everyone a knife and tell them to go for the eyes or neck as a last resort.
Communication:
Get a ham radio. If you don’t know about it, join your local ham radio club (there is one in your town, just search for it on the web) and they will teach you. Get a battery setup to power it. Listen for the resistance, don’t transmit, don’t fall for liars. If the radio goes silent, run.
Running:
Be prepared to run. Have full camping gear and tools as well as a destination in mind in the wilderness. You must be able to carry this gear on your back and walk to this destination. Use a compass, not GPS.
Safe Room:
Build a room in your house with a concealed door. Keep your radio, weapons, and gear in there and retreat there if there’s no other choice.
