No, you don't want me. I am TERRIBLE which is why I had to take lessons.

My dog is a very smart English shepherd (sort of like a border collie) and she is convinced she is in charge.

She was a handful and it was all my fault, because I wasn't consistent and also kept explaining, things to her. ("No, Maggie, you don't want to do that or you'll make a mess.") Dogs don't understand explanations...they hear "No, blah, blah, blah,blah.." and because you have used so many words, they tune out the "No" part.

If you really need a trainer, send me a freepmail and I will find one for you in your area. My trainer knows a lot of people and he trained with Cesar Milan.

People tune out the “no” part, too.

“Don’t go near the edge”, sounds like ‘go near the edge.’

Much better to say “Stay/come away from the edge”.

“Don’t vote for this bill” is a message our congressmen don’t hear.

We must say “VOTE AGAINST this bill, FIGHT AGAINST the dems, etc.”

I had never had two dogs inside and these two are an eyeopener. They are good until they are challenged by another dog...generally a small yapper. When we travel I had to start walking them one at a time because I could not physically handle both of them if they were “talked” to by another dog.

I live in NE AL on Lookout Mtn. The closest city is Ft. Payne, AL. I love the dog Whisperer.
