I never said that the books or texts of the Islamic holy books have been corrupted by jihadists or extremists. I’m pointing out that Islamic extremists who murder and believe they have “martyred” other muslims for their non-jihadist interpretation(s) are not legitimate muslims. For these terrorists and their victims, there is absolutely nothing to be gained unless their surviving family members have been paid in exchange for a volunteer(s) to perform a terrorist act(s).
The idea that the victims are also martyred makes me wonder why the victims’ families are not being paid.
Nevertheless, if those kinds of terrorist contracts are carried out apart from normal muslim society then it would be like the American mafia where they might take solace in the fact or attempt to justify their actions by pointing out that they were only having other mobsters killed.
